HID Conversion am I missing something???

I beleive I have bought H1 HID Conversion kit but the bulbs wont fit - they fit into the aperture but the retaining metal work does not fit the rear of light or retaining clip.

Any ideas ?

I have tried a few searches and looked in Tech Section cant seem to find a "HID Guide"?? Please advise.
