HID Conversion...

[FONT=arial"]Can anyone help with this? I'd like to fit HID lights to my 2001 Boxster, but have been told it'll fry the reflectors. Anybody done this conversion, which units did you fit, have you fried your peepers and did it work!?
What about fitting ex breaker's yard units??

suggest you do a search for xenon - there have been loads of threads - i did this on my 986 without any nissues, removed the kit and have it in my 987 now. Just make sure you get a kit designed for the 986/996 as some light elements are too long and foul the reflector cap
