Can anyone recommend/advise which are the best set to buy and how easy is the conversion on a 1995 S?
If successful I will use on my 993C4S
Thanks

PCT are the arm of the company at same site that do all the service/ repairs and upgrades .they are particularly good at 993 - there were certainly quite a few when I went there .good standard of work too

Having researched this for some days it seems that they are not legal unless you have self levelling and headlamp washing.
I assume then that there is nothing that can be done?

I think that as from the beginning of this year, it is an automatic MoT test fail if you have gas discharge lamps fitted but don't have correctly functionioning self-levelling and working headlamp washers. This applies to all Xenon/HID lighting systems, whether factory, dealer or after-market fitments.

My local garage told me that the MOT stipulates that the headlight washers must work 'if fitted'. The implication being that if you put after-market HID lights in, and there are, therefore, no washers - it is not a reason for an MOT failure.
