High Beam error:

A couple of times in the last week, I've had an error display on the dash ("Check High Beam" or words similar to that). There's been no discernable problems from inside or outside of the car and after parking up and then returning to the car the problem has gone away.

As the car will be at my OPC for a few days (to have the clutch done) while I'm away on holiday, I will ask them to investigate but I just wondered whether anyone had seen this problem before?

Thanks

beam)

also applies to:
front side lights, direction indicator,
high beam, fog lights, side indicator
light, brake light, tail light, rear fog
light, reversing light, raised brake
light, side marker

Meaning/measure

The reported light is faulty. Check bulb.
Have the fault remedied at an authorized
Porsche dealer.

When in doubt read the destructions......[;)][:D]

If bulb isn't blown see below ...

Seen this problem before, 1st time (bulb ok) my car was a precursor to my battery failure 2nd time members car bulb had been previously replaced with slightly off spec bulb.

Me, read the instructions? Never.....

Thanks for the response - I assumed a problem with the bulb, but there doesn't seem to be any issuesthat I can see, and currently the error message has gone away...

I'll let the OPC take a look!
