high octane fuel in Europe

I'm planning on taking the 993 over to Switzerland next summer. I wondered if there are any problems with getting hold of a V-power equivalent in Europe. If its available what name does it go by?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, it's called V-Power in Switzerland and the rest of Europe too. Not all Shell stations in Switzerland have V-Power, but they do sell 98 octane, which is good enough. The V-Power in Austria and Germany is 100Ron, but it is very expensive in Germany! The Aral stations (Which are basically BP) also have 100 Ron Super Unleaded.

Have fun in Switzerland, and make sure you do the Fluela pass if you're anywhere near the Stelvio pass - it's way better than the Stelvio and IMO the best road in that area!

Thanks, I will make sure we squeeze Fluela Pass in as well as the Stelvio. I'm planning on sampling some autobahns on the way over as well.
