High revving at start

Question for any techies out there
Intermittant fault,No fault recorded
Problem is when starting sometimes the engine will rev to around 3-4000rpm
then settle back to normal.
Any idea's
OPC Exeter check the butterfly motion on the intake today,everything ok

I get it too, and presumed it was normal. I didn't get it on my 996 turbo, so presume it's a new setting. You do get the odd funny look in the car park when firing up cos' it sounds like you're revving like a 17 year old in an Impreza! [:D]

Oh found the colour of the wheels Meteor grey,but since found the 991 comes with black steel bolts
which don't rust,around £150 for full set inc.lock nuts not bad price

At least they have finally got that sorted then....
Used to be so many complaints about rusty nuts...

When you get to my age, the last thing you worry about is your nuts going rusty [:D]
