Hi Colin,
Apart from the (much overplayed) IMS/RMS issues, for a car of that age and mileage you'll need to do the usual checks on clutch, brakes, steering and suspension bushes, PAS fluid and coolant leaks, aircon and electrical functionality (including hood operation), etc. Check the water drains in the hood area too as they're prone to clogging up and causing the carpet area behind the seats to get flooded, saturating the electrics in that area. Apart from the usual stone chips in the frontal area, around the side intake and behind the rear wheels, the body should be good. Probably best to get an inspection done by a suitably-experienced Indy or someone like Peter Morgan.
As far as I know there aren't any issues with the PASM dampers but if they're the original dampers, I would have thought that they could be reaching the end of their useful life sometime soon and that they will be more expensive to replace than the standard units. It might be worth contacting a PC or Indy to get a quote for replacement but you could look at replacing the originals with someting like Bilstein Damp Tronic units (have a word with Chris Franklin at Center Gravity).
