R2, Scotland North, is holding a Charity Fundraiser event to raise money for UCAN, an Aberdeen based charity which supports patients and families in Scotland suffering from Urological Cancers, hence UCAN.

In addition to these support services, UCAN has funded equipment and extra specialist nurses at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI). Equipment includes the first Robotic Surgery system in Scotland, installed in 2015, and an MRI Fusion Scanner installed in 2022. The Urology department at ARI diagnoses and treats disorders of the the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs. A number of R2 members have been through the process of diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer at ARI and have experienced first hand the support that UCAN provides to the Urology department, patients and family members. More information on UCAN and the work they do can be found here, . Please support our fundraising drive by donating via the R2 Just Giving page.

The event is for PCGB members only. You can still register to attend via the R2 event page. We have 50+ vehicles registered for the display ranging from a late 356C cabriolet to current models. With the exception, a 914, we have examples of every generation of every Porsche production car registered for the display, plus two Porsche tractors. Due to this excellent response from R2 members, we have now closed the registration of additional display cars.
