I own a 952 1991 (944 Turbo S Specification) in Alpine White.

It registration is B8GBA, and it has an almost complete history of bills and invoices, however it has an invoice for new Sills, however I have just replaced the R/H with a genuine Porsche part to find the Sill that was declared as replaced, was the original!!

Does anyone have any history on this car, as I know its spent its life between Leeds and London.

All assistance, appreciated

If you go onto the DVLA website and download the V888/2 form (link below) you can send this off with a cheque for £5 and they will send you back a list of all the owners of the car along with a copy of the V5's. You may be able to trace the owners from there [:)] https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/v8882-request-by-a-company-for-information-about-a-vehicle

Hi Barrie, good to see you managed to register! [:)] Is it possible that the sill was replaced with a genuine full sill, and fitted exactly as it would have been at the factory? It would be unusual for a replacement to rust again, though, and a repair to the outer would have been obvious when you had the work done. Assuming the bill is genuine, I wonder if it could be the plastic sill trims, and they just called it the sill? Only an idea, but possible I guess. [8|]
