Spooky, even though it clearly wasnt my fault ( wasnt even moving ! ) I can hear the insurance companies now ' well that is going to affect your premium ' []
And cheers Michael.

Who knows, I can't understand how they work. I actually hit someone (my fault) and two weeks later when I got new quotes, my insurance went down 10%. Then got an SP50 and the next year it went down another 10%, through the same broker. Bunch of charlatans.

I'm sorry to say that you are right. Having had an incident, they will still view you as a higher risk due to a claim [] Any excuse. [X(]
I was sitting at a set of lights beside a new Range Rover (which I believe are now made by Scania) and I'd swear the bonnet was higher than the roof on the '44.

I mirror shister insurance company complaints. After embarisingly losing it on a roundabout and crashing into a barrier (my last car) and causing a few hundred quids worth of damage, my insurance company advised me to claim as I had Protected NCB saying it wouldn't affect my premium. What a load of cobblers. I rekon it's cost me about £50 per year. Also by the time they've loaded my premium with my 944 due to 17" wheels and a perfomance back box it's slighty for me to be insured for a 911 turbo worth £30k!! Where's the logic in that??

Bad luck Chris! I bet you felt absolutely powerless as you saw that great thing reversing towards you knowing what was going to happen. Don't most Ceyennes have reverse parking sensors like nearly all new 4x4's seem to have these days?? If so there really is no excuse for driving behavour like that.

I can go one better...
Both my porkers sit side by side each other in the garage. Was getting out of the Box, damp floor, fell out horizontally, Boxster door hits Cayenne door = Dent!
Ahh, but on the Pepper, you can pretend you did it green-laning and a tree jumped out at you! [] You have taken it off-road of course........? []
