hood mechanism

I came to put up my hood for the evening to find on the drivers side it will not locate into the catch missing by about 1 inch, to close it i had to put some manual force onto the hood to engage the lock. this is the first time it has happened and is only 10 months old - any ideas if it is easily sorted or do i need a trip to the opc. would be grateful for some advice as is highly annoying.

If it's 10 months old it's under Porsche Warranty so get it down the OPC.
