Hood Operation.

Can anyone solve a mystery for me, in the owners manual of my May 03 face lift cabrio it says that the hood will work up to 30 mph, however my one will only work with the handbrake on.

Is the owners manual wrong?

Everything else works as per the manual.

Anyone know.

Just been back to my opc and it was a coding problem.

Had the hood control unit replaced and they have to programme the unit to tell it what year the car it is fitted to is.

I would say that the problems with my car all started when my opc decided to re-code my car whilst in for a service.

I would strongly advise anyone taking their car for service to ask the dealer not to mess about with the coding on the car.
