Hoping to buy a 996

I would be grateful to see if there is anyone who could answer a couple of questions please?
The car I am looking at (R reg) has a slow opening sunroof and then could not fully close unless helped a bit - does this indicate some lubrication required or a new motor? Whatever, how easy is it to gain access?
Also the door handles felt stiff and once did not open without locking and then opening again - does this also suggest a big problem?
Otherwise the car looked, drove and sounded fine!
Living south of Bristol I wondered if here is a good independent that anybody could recommend please?

Looking like a new sunroof motor is likely there - not entirely sure of the cost implication maybe around £150 plus fitting (not gospel) - someone else may be able to comment.

The stiff door handle phenomenon is not uncommon and my own 98 C2 suffers form it to a degree - lubrication can help.

BUT no matter how it appears to drive its worth a (typically) £250 once over by an indie dealer to be sure there's no nasties lurking, particularly if you're buying privately.

Not sure of Bristol area, but Northway nr Reading are great and so are Autofarm north of Oxford.

Good luck.
