Horn sounding under heavy braking

Does anyone have any suggestions? I heard it first yesterday when I took the car out for a run
It was a fairly half-hearted squawk at first but built up under heavy braking
Might I have mice eating the wiring loom perhaps?
My local indy found evidence of them in my Audi A2
 
I had exactly the same with my car when I picked her up from the dealers. Turned out to be a faulty switch in the steering wheel. The inertia under heavy braking was enough to set the switch in the steering wheel off. Not sure what the fix was - I think the garage replaced the switch in the steering wheel but can't be sure. Hope that helps?

Morning, I agree with the other posters, it's probably the rubber mounts on the airbag mounting plate that have gone soft and as suggested inertia is doing the rest.
