I was looking through the p-car web site the other day and saw a section on adding an elbow extension to the airbox of non turbo cars with turbo spoilers to ensure that cooler air is supplied to the air box--the attached letter implied that for every 10 degrees (f presumably) of extra temperature there was a 1% power loss.
My car is a c2S with a turbo spoiler and --given the bright and sunny British climate--well at least in Yorkshire--I am not sure that the added benefit of cooler air will outweigh the down side of greater restriction on the intake side.
Does anyone have an opinion on this (except to question why anyone would have a turbo spoiler on a C2s--answer--I bought it that way.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
many thanks
