Hot running glitch - really annoying...

Note I don't say over heating as the temperature gauge responds to the action of the fan. But if I get stuck in traffic it's only a matter of time before it starts to misfire really badly... and the cause is usually a HT lead popping of the spark plug. Does anyone else get this problem? Murphys law says it is #2 or #3 plug leads which pop off - the ones that I can't get my hand to when the engines hot...

Have you taken the thread covers on the top of the spark plugs off?
The leads should not pop off!
 
My leads needed a gentle squash with a pair of pliers and now fit so snug it's hard to get them off!
