Hot Start fault on an S

Seems that I have a thing about 924's and starting trouble!!

For 2 weeks now the S hasn't started when its hot, a common fault if it was an n/a, but I'm stumped with the S.
Changed the cap/rotor & coil, and the leads are good.

When its cold it starts on the button, and runs great, but when I stop it won't start for about 3 hours, after that its back to normal.

Any ideas anyone??

Fuel Pressure?
I've Read this Complaint on Both 944 and 924 Forums...
Thankfully not experienced myself...

Fuel Pressure seems OK, I've heard that the reference sensors can be a common fault on both the early '44 & the S. being that the are magnetic they can foul up and refuse to send a signal to the coil to fire the engine, seems like a valid point.

Next Q is how the hell do I get the old ones out, have you seen the location!! And does anyone know where I can get them from, been quoted some silly prices so far

There are a Few on ebay...
There is also a book.. (Cover Pic) Item number 260241748761

Cheers Nouveau, Now if only I could find a way to remove the sensor retaining bracket!! It doesn't explain very well but I assume the speed sensor has nothing to do with the speedo on a 924S but is for the speed of the flywheel rotation?
I can't get the speed sensor to budge, the ref. sensor will come out half way then stops, and advice on removal, they are a right sod to get to.

Still wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to remove the old sensors, seems like its easier to undo the two allen bolts and remove the little housing they are on, but again how on earth do you get an allen key in there [&:]

Well no need to worry about the sensors anymore, would seem that the bands have gone in the auto box, and unless someone has a spare auto box and wants it, then I'll be breaking it, don't have the time to be changing gearboxs, shame becasue it ran great [:(]

Sorry to hear the news;I require a front pair of seats -beige vinyl with beige fabric centres for 924S if you do intend to break.

Sorry but initial frustration has worn off and its now parked in the garage until the end of summer while I source a gearbox and torque tube for it, now driving a Volvo for my sins LOL.

Engine and rest of car are too good to break, not perfect but its solid and I'd hate to break a good car when a lttile time and patience would see it back on the road.
