hot start, or not?

My 1986 Lux has started having trouble starting when hot. Starts immediately from cold. It's done it before, but seemed to have given it up over the winter. Now it seems rather unhappy about starting when hot. it turns over no problem, just seems to take ages to start. On the weekend when I filled it up it wouldn't start for several minutes, causing much amusement among the other people at the gas station. Frustrating because in every other way it's driving beautifully. Just a delight to drive.

I've ordered a new DME relay. What are the other things I should be looking at?

Having had this exact issue with my 9024S (which has the 2.5 engine) it was the Reference Sensor (BG) that gave up, started as a hot start issue, then one day just wouldn't start, check on Clarkes Garage to see how to check the sensor with a Multimeter, solved my issue very quickly.
Normally when the DME is at fault it just goes and the car won't start, no harm in always carrying a spare though!
