HAVE SORTED THAT HOT START PROBLEM !!! ( and heat issues )

if it happens, for some reason, change your battery... ( obviosuly before starter or alternator )

I never thought of changing the battery, the car started no problem when cold so to me it was ok, but as OLI mentionned, resistance lowers as heat increases. ( wires i suppose and stuff like that )

Then apparently the golf vr6 suffered this problem and some owners on french forums suggested battery change as it had worked for them. It does WORK.

Regarding the voltometer reading, it indicates the same value of almost 13 with old battery and new battery, so don't let this fool you.

regarding heat: changing the oil, oil filter, and water ( plus bleed ) sorted that issue.

hopefully this will be helpfull to others.

Thanks for all the help for my first time on the forum.
