How common is timing cover oil leaks on 3.0 diesels?

We are thinking about buying our first Porsche, a 14/15 plate facelift Cayenne 3.0 diesel.
I know some of the earlier ones suffered from timing chain cover oil leaks as Porsche used alley bolts, the Audi and VW 3.0's I am being told had steel bolts and not so troublesom.
Just wondered if anyone has had issues with the later ones? as it's an engine and subframe out job to fix.

Any advice will be greatly appreciate.

I have a 16 plate 3.0 diesel and so far no problems.

But then, I did buy it from a reputable place that gave me a comprehensive warranty for 6 months.

Make sure that you get one with full Porsche main dealer service history.

Finally, I've just paid for the 111 point check from Porsche and bought 2 years main dealer warranty for total peace of mind.

Your 111 point check should highlight any major issues.
