how do i change my headlight bulb

hi all new to this just bought a carrera 2 and my bulb is dead how do i change it??

You need to remove the headlight complete.

You say you have a Carrera 2 but you've posted in the 3.2 Carrera forum - the 3.2 is the last of the line 911s whilst the Carrera 2 is a 964.

For a 3.2 you remove the screw at the bottom of the headlight trim ring which allows you to carefully pull it off. Then you undo the screw at the bottom of the headlight - do not touch the other two screws as they are for beam adjustment. You can then pull the headlight out, though this is usually not straightforward and only follows several minutes of determined tugging (ooh err).

I'd assume the 964 is the same, but this is a guess on my part as I believe they share the same headlight assembly.

Try to push the headlight down and lift the bottom of it forward. Basically the top hangs on the car.
