how do i lower my front suspension

my front suspension neds to be lowered but i cant seem to work out how its dine its a 3.2 911 1987 convertible will all the suspension geommetry have to be reset
 
Its easy enough. There is a ride height adjusting screw at the rear of each of the front torsion bars. You slot your allen key into it and twist. Take a couple of minutes to think about which way you turn it before you start, then keep a careful note of exactly how many turns you make so you can a) undo what you have done if you turn it the wrong way and b) do the exact same to the other side.

If it was me, I would get a shop with corner balancing scales to do it because you are bound to upset your corner weights if you just start fiddling with it. Changing the front ride heights is a 5 minute job but if the corner weights are off and need fixing then (provided you don't touch the rear end) it is probably no more than a one hour iterative adjust and check job. Also, any ride height change will also affect your camber and toe settings so the alignment should be checked. A samll adjustment may not make enough of a change to worry about but a geometry check is certainly best practice.

No - the torsion bars are what does the job of springs in a 911. Check it out, your car has no 'springs'.

Without wanting to offend, but if you don't know what a torsion bar is, you might want to leave lowering the car to professionals. On the other hand, everyone starts somewhere. I suggest you buy some books: Wayne Dempsey's 101 Projects and Bruce Anderson's 911 Performance Handbook spring to mind.
 
dont worry i have just changed the fuel tank in it and have done engine conversions in other cars just not played around with 911 much whats the bentley mannual like
