How do I?

Fold the wing mirrors in? There seems to be a certain amount of resistance to just folding into the windows.
Also the drivers manual mentions an extra gadget/setting which makes the passenger mirror drop when engaging reverse. As far as I can see it doesn't actually say how to activate this!

Thanks

dropping the mirror only works if you have memory seats and try to reverse I believe. as for folding in mirrors mine seem to go in ok, you're trying to fold them backwards not forwards right [;)]

Thanks Chris. I have standard non sports seats with the memory buttons on the drivers sill so it should work? Do I have to switch it on somehow?
Yes, tried just folding them in. They seemed a little reluctant! I'll try again.

Mine are a bit stiff as well, i just put it down to them not being folded in much. Not sure on the other point, i was just under the impression that when the car is put in reverse the passengers mirror tilts down. I dont think the drivers side changes (For right hand drive cars, not sure if its reversed for left hand drive). Maybe wait till richard replys just to confirm.

Setting up the door mirror dipping is explained in the driver's handbook (and in my book, of course!). You have to engage reverse and set the mirrors and seat in the required position before storing it by pressing the appropriate button.

So it turns out I was just being a wuss with the mirrors and they fold fine. I'll play with the reversing thing next time I use it

Thanks all.
