On Monday I managed to push my hazard switch through the dashboard. Buttocks!
On Tuesday I removed the dash trim to see what the problem was and found that the ears that retain the hazard switch had broken. In manipulating the hazard switch I also broke the tag that holds back the right hand end of the trim. Buttocks x 2!
I phoned my OPC, armed with the appropriate part number, and this evening a brand new piece of trim turned up.
You've got to admit that still being able to get such parts new for a car coming on 20 years old isn't too bad.
