hi everybody,I have 225/40 at the front and my camber is 1degree is anybody know how low can I go without the tyres touching the arches.
many thanks Konstantin

Konstantin,

I assume you're running 18" wheels on your 964, given the tyre sizes - 225/40 fronts & 265/35 rears? I used to run the same on my 964 C2 with Roock suspension, set at RS ride height. I found the inside of the front tyres tended to rub on the inner wheel arch at full lock so switched to 17" Cup 1s (turbo offsets). I was amazed at the transformation - better ride, much improved steering feel and no more wheel rub. Adrian Streather always claims you shouldn't run 18"s on a standard 964 and I'm inclined to agree after my experiences.

Sorry, that doesn't directly answer your question so you could try asking one of the specialists who do a lot of work on 964s - JZ, GT One, Parr e.t.c.

Regards,
Michael

Adrian claimed this, and then ran Sportec 19"s so.........its all to do with weight, stresses and other factors. Ride quality is in no doubt, I use 18"s and they are worse than 17"s but YMMV, I like the look of my 18"s.
