How many 964RS are there in UK?

I've been looking for a good lhd 964RS for a while now. It seems there's a real lack of cars being advertised for sale. I can think of only 4 cars of varying quality this year.

Does anyone know approximately how many lhd RSs there are in the UK. I understand exact figures might be difficult to come by due to cars coming and going, or owners not being active in the club with their cars - but does anyone have an educated guess, or is there an official register and exact figures are known?

I'm really just trying to get a wider view of the market, and the size of the task I have before me in finding a good car.

And if anyone knows someone with a nice clean lhd RS which they're thinking of selling. Please, please point them in my direction.[:)]

About 100ish on Register and would guess same again not....otherwise look at www.mobile.de or www.germansportscars.de

Hi Richard

Try paul maclean at GT classics near andover. I bought mine there and he is a good bloke. Has a high standard of cars too. Do remember that if you want a really clean low milage car you will have to pay top dollar, your about 5 years to late for any cracking deals.
Cars do come up regularly though so be patient and make sure you get a good one. As im sure you realise correcting a few minor faults can be very expensive.

good luck

Richard,
UK is not the natural home of LHD RSs. If you're fussy about what you want you'll need to cast your net further afield - at least into Western Europe. I believe most Euro spec 964 RSs are still in Germany.

Good luck!
