How many 997 Turbo Gen 1.5 were built?

Hi,

I am trying to confirm how many Gen 1.5 997 Turbos were built and I am not sure how to find this info, please can somebody help?

I bought mine last year and believe they were low volume as they were the final run of vehicles between 2008-2009, I also heard sales were low as this was the time of the financial crisis, any info would be greatly welcomed.
