How many admire your car in your garage?

I have to confess to not getting much work done in my garage due to admiring my car. I have even asked my wife to admire the car too (not recommened in most cases), however, I am lucky my wife likes Porsche's too[;)] I look for all sorts of reasons to invent a destination to drive to[:D]

Don't worry about it.

The only work to be done in Ones garage ( Mens Creche as I call it ) is to admire and tinker with Ones cars.

Keep up the good work.

I don't know about the garage, but I did get a thumbs up from a guy in a 993 on the weekend as I was on the motorway. That did make me smile for a long time.[:D]

I always wave at other Porsche drivers, as I did with my Boxster but so many people don't wave back, so I pretend ,slightly embarassed when ignored, that I am putting my had through my hair[:D]

Sadly he was going passed me and it was too late. I have passed and been passed by several other Porsche cars since then and sadly not a single returned look, smile or acknowledgement from anyone

Agree with you we acknowledge our fellow Porsche drives far too little. I normally smile and lift a hand from the wheel in a mini wave - assuming i am just pootling about

The day I picked up my 997 I got a clear thumbs up (not other sign) from three different white Van men. I was impressed and three months later it still gives me a smile

I spent the whole weekend waving to other Porsche drivers [:D]

I knew there were another group on a trip in the same area, I'm pleased to report that we saw each other, waved and flashed merrily [:)]

I was with a group of non-Porsche drivers who whilst jealous also happily mocked me[;)]

I wave and nod, if they don't its non skin off my nose and their loss..

I find that 996 & 997 owners seem to respond but probably not Boxsters!
What ever happened to the AA man with his motorcycle and sidecar who saluted you as you went past??

LOL!

I've not as yet have anybody wave back at me even though through desperation I've narrowed the "wave field" to 993, 996 and 997. I guess they're a snobby or unfriendly lot round my way who don't feel the same way about their cars *sniff*.

I often call the missus to the front door when I press the garage door button and say rather too affectionately "look at that..." as the door comes down slowly sealing my car safely in for another night. Somehow the unagreeable comments that hit my ear obviously mean that she doesn't quite feel the same way.

I'd love a 997. Just thought I'd add that. [:)]
