Here's good game..........
List all the parts you have changed on your car.I don't mean every individual nut and bolt just the parts ie waterpump, All cooling Hoses, and brake discs etc.
Ooh, I think I'm going to have a chance at this game!
Point of order......are we allowed to differentiate between front and rear? E.g. Front discs, rear discs counts as two things changed or just "brake discs" counts as one thing changed whether you changed 1,2,3 or 4?
Pedantry important at this stage....!

Yeah, wouldn't dare! Ana asked me what the bill was when I replaced the gearbox and she wasn't impressed. Didn't dare say that in the four years hVe had the car it's cost over £8k in repairs, maintenance, and deferred maintenance. Andy at Ninex did tell me that it would have been cheaper to run a 911.ORIGINAL: Waylander
I not playing either, my mrs caught sight of the bills a heart attack will be the least of my worries

Yeah but you wouldn't want to settle for a 911 when you can have a real Porsche.

Engine:
Cam cover and spark plug gaskets, spark plugs, plug leads, distributor cap, cam chain tensioner pads, cam belt and rollers, balance belt and rollers, PAS belt, alternator belt, oil filter, air filter, fuel hoses, fuel lines, fuel filter, sump plug washer!
Transmission:
CV joints, front wheel bearings, gear linkages, wheel nuts.
Brakes:
Front and rear discs, front and rear pads, all hoses, rear brake lines, all 16 anti vibration pads, handbrake shoes.
Body/chassis:
Both sills, one front wing, engine mounts, one hockey stick trim, both hockey stick gaskets, roof trim strip seals, rear Porsche decal, 944 S2 badge, rear hatch pins, nose panel badge gasket, heater blower cover, bonnet struts.
Suspension:
One wishbone, both wishbone ball joints, wishbone front inner bushes, wishbone castor mounts, front strut inserts, rear dampers, front ARB bushes, front camber adjustment bolts and washers.
Electrical:
Headlights, front indicator lenses, side repeaters, heater blower ballast resistor, heater control panel, one window motor and regulator, power window relay, wiper linkage, boot compartment courtesy light, LCD clock screen, one door lock microswitch.
Interior:
Steering wheel, gear level gaiter, centre armrest.
All of that lot done within the last year and none of it was frivolous. Every part which I replaced was either faulty, broken or worn out. Let that be a lesson to anyone else thinking about buying an "ebay special"!
Next on the list is a top end overhaul so I would expect to add tappets, valve guides, head gasket set and cam chain to the list before too long.
