Yeah, but don't judge a book by it's cover![]ORIGINAL: baxster
Mind you still prefer the looks of Gen 1.

I am sure its a very good car and by all reports it sounds brilliant. Its the rear end that looks wrong, no matter how many times I look at it I prefer the gen 1 rear. It certainly would not put me off having one if I could afford one.ORIGINAL: tscaptain

Really? Did they read that stat through those glasses they were wearing with the rose coloured tint? They like every other manufacturer were completely suprised as was everyone about the devasting effect the downturn has had on new car sales. Talk about my glass is half full!!!!!
Yes, quite! Can't blame them for trying on the Company bullspeak though. I seem to remember they were probably side tracked scuppering all the german hedge funds at the time?[&:]ORIGINAL: baxster

I part exed my 2006 gen 1 C4S in November, effectively got £50K for it. My new C4S was due to leave the factory yesterday, so hope to collect it from OPC around 20th March. []
As for the looks, I must agree that the rear three quarter view of the gen 1 car (always its best angle) does look prettier, however, I do like the full on rear view of the gen 2 car, especially the C4's, and I think the front bumber on the gen 2 is much better.. Just a personal opinion.. [8|]
