According to my list it was never a colour offered as standard, or as an option, on a 944 model year. Of course, you can have any colour you like if you want to pay for it, see the Boxster thread for a gorgeous brown car with the most hideous interior.
However many of them there are, I think it's one of the best colours for a 944. Along with Maritime Blue. I think they look great in a slightly unusual flat colour in good light. [8|]

It's got 18 stamps in the service book, with Porsche dealer until 2006 and then an independent since. I have every bill for it from 1991, interestingly it seems to have had recurring issues with starting and has had lots of batteries over the years. Possibly due to it only doing about 4-5k a year. I've a Porsche battery conditioner so I'll keep it plugged into that whilst I'm not using it.
As far as work, it has a few rust bubbles on the trailing bottom edge of the front wings so I'll get that sorted and the dash lights don't work which hopefully is an easy fix and that is about it.
So I'm very happy with it.
I think the owner realised he had sold it too cheaply but he was decent enough to honour the deal.
