How many UK supplied 4-speed 930 Turbos were there??

I'm trying to establish the provenance of a copper bronze metallic 1980 4-speed 3.3 911 Turbo I purchased recently. I've been led to believe 2850 930 Turbos were made but only 36 UK supplied RHD - but can anyone confirm or rubbish this? What info do I need to post, and is there anybody out there who can help me please? Aany assistance would be much appreciated.

Cheers, how do I do that then? I'm not a Porsche club member yet and this is my first post - I do have a Carrera 4 Cab and a Boxster tho' if that gets me any brownie points?

But I'm in the 911 Turbo section now though aren't I? Just hit back & looked at the list of all other forums but nothing else appears to be as relevant? Can I search by member or something to contact John direct? Thanks in advance...

Hi John

I know that I am not officially in the right topic, but do you know how many RHD 911 Supersport were brought to the UK? We are thinking of buying one, and would like to know how rare these are - we have been advised that there may be as few as 15-20!

Thanks

Carl
