how much for a car wash?

Some of you may have read a lengthy post where after much assistance from Richard a fault was identified with my variocam solenoid. After leaving on the drive for about six weeks i eventually got around to phoning around for quotes. Without mentioning names, the local porsche dealer quoted me £840 as compared with £340 at an indie. When i picked my car up yesterday i was a little shocked to find the car hadn't been cleaned or washed and was therefore a little disappointed. I even found some finger prints etc and the towing eye was still attached to the front bumper.
However, i soon realized that if the only difference was the washing of the car, then that would be a very expensive £500. The smile returned and im now back in the car looking at how the spare cash can be spent!!!
Thanks to all who helped.

Oh, sorry Richard. Whenever visiting the OPC i always make sure a coffee is available. Anyway, already made one purchase with the spare cash. Got my Porsche shorts ready for any summer meetings coming up which hopefully i can make.
Felt i had to indulge myself!!!!
