How much for a front bumper respray on a 996

Hi,
The front bumper on my 996 has a quite a few stone chips now and really needs to be resprayed. Can anyone recommend a good garage in the South East (Kent) and give me an idea of a rough cost.

Cheers,
Steve

I was thinking of getting mine done; c£600 from a Porsche approved body shop but obviously cheaper elsewhere.

First time, I paid £250 for mine to be done, by an independent body shop. Second time I lightly bumped someone up the rear, and it cost me my insurance excess. [][]

I have just had mine done locally by an one man paint shop (Nr Chertsey, Surrey), I had grills put into the holes ala GT3, for 450 pounds.

Obviously there is a lot more time involved in cutting and fitting the grills, so I reckon you would be looking at the 300 pound region for a plain respray and no VAT.

I gave my car a good clean up at the weekend and thought my bumper could do with painting and while i am at it the bonnet could do with a once over. OPC quoted silly money any ideas on cost for doing this as well?

Cheers guys. I called Chandler Stewart in Crayford (I live in Dartford, so very convenient). They quoted me £500 exc VAT. They are Porsche approved so probably just run mine in there.

P.S. Stu.. Where did you get the GT3 grills from. Wouldn't mine doing mine especially with the amount of crap hitting the radiators.

Steve

I am getting a full front paint next week (PU, both wings and bonnet) £750 locally to me in Eastbourne. As anyone got stone chips on the roof? I have and it is going to cost another £200.
