I have a 1991 944 s2. Guards red, leather interior, no other special factory options. I was just wondering how much it would have cost brand new? Any one know?

I think they were about £35K, including alarm and sunroof, which they all had and probably another £1,500 on top of that for the leather, but I think there was a 'substantial' price reduction in the last year of production, to around £30K.

That gives you an idea....makes it good value now don't you think?

Hi Jez , Ive the similar car and although Ive never looked into it , around £34k list is my guess , sure somebody will be along in a minute to give the correct price

Chris

From the 1991 MY price list

S2 Coupe £36,457.61
Leather Front & Rear Seats £1,909.38
Full Leather (lower dash Cassette box lid etc etc) £2,866.62

So your car was at least £38,366.99 inc all taxes
