Had a slight carpark incident with our S2 last night. My wife had dropped our sons off at the village hall and as she was coming back to the car she saw an old Toyota backing towards our front bumper. She ran the last few yards waving her arms for the chap to stop but he didn't see her and reversed slowly into the car. Once he had struck the bumper he then continued to reverse and actually pushed our car backwards a few inches on the handbrake. He then pulled forward into a parking space opposite and got out to make his way to the local shops, at this point he still didn't realise he had hit the car until my wife shouted into his deaf aid [&:]
He then agreed what had happened ( several witnesses were around to confirm it ), and agreed to pay for the repair if my wife got some quotes. Now obviously I am going to repair it myself but it gave us the chance to get a quote from a rival repairer in town. Here's a pic of the damage, 90% of it is just paint transfer from his car, but the central inch above the letter G is actually down to the plastic of our bumper and will need spraying. What do you think was the quote given to my wife?
