is this the car that was for sale last year through Gmund and the OPC mid Sussex?

Lovely car Mike but RHD last went through [ within last couple of months]at £110 k mint , low mileage perfect full history etc ....................and i can find another similar uner 20 000 miles ...........sorry Mate not realistic

Agreed Chris, anybody owning such a low mileage rs is not about to sell for much less than £150k, expensive today, may be cheap
in a few years time, who knows ?

Tend to agree with Vic, that it looks a bit toppy. Having said that, I can't blame the vendor for putting it up at £150k. I mean how many 6700mile examples are left out there? Precious few, I'd wager. And for some people who want the car as a museum piece, a 20k mile example is too leggy!!! [:D][:D]

Thomas has an 8000mile Riviera LHD RS at 150k Euro,

so why not stick it up at£150k and see what happens? RHD exclusivity in a RHD market, ideal for HKG, SIN etc

Somehow though, I think it'll go for a bit less than asking.....

Best of luck to him!

I suppose the market will determine the price.

Looks lovely and if I had a lottery win and was building a collection of RS cars then what price such a rare thing? I always think no matter how good a restoration you can never really match the "factory fresh " look including the sometimes shoddy bits a factory puts in!

Given the rarity of the 993 RS is it too much of a leap to see eventually prices matching the 2.7 RS?

He should just market it in Asia, I don't think there would be much difficulty getting taht price in Hong Kong. It's booming out there and this is loose change to successful guys doing business in China. Is it worth it? Given it's rarer than a 2.7RS or 964RS I would say so. Only 9 were originally sold in Hong Kong, 5 in Singapore and most have been heavily molested or accident repaired.

Does not look the same car to me either unless lots of changes made, like replacing clear indicator lenses, spoilrs etc.

is the 6700 mile car one of the Bamford cars? Anyone know how many he has/had?

I suspect it is a car I went to view earlier in the year. When I saw it at mid sussex porsche it had 6,651 miles on the clock. Mileage, etc all looked genuine. Not sure it's definately the same car, but the mileage and colour are massive coinsidence if not. I took lots of nice pictures of it, underneath on the ramp as well. Strange spec though. Comfort seats, manual windows and no air con. Though it was lovely if it's the same car as the one in the ad the "out of the box" quote should be explored.

This is the mid Sussex car .............................i met the purchaser at Oulton with his son last March..................................real nice Guys , cant comment on the car , never looked at it that hard .................................

Was offered by gmund prior to being at mid sussex.

This part I may be making up but was possibly a Chan Islands or IOM car?

it can;t come to singapore, you can only import cars under 3 years old or over 35 years old into singapore

hong kong is a possibility, the import regulations aren't so tight there.

there's still a couple around here in singapore, one is a singapore forum regular. values out here are hard to put a figure on as there as so few, but i would imagine you would need upwards of GBP200k to get your hands on one :)

thinking about it, if i did have GBP150k to spend on a 993 i might well just scrape around for another GBP25k and get this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2221250.htm !!

Yup - that seems a really good buy to me if it is what it claims to be - based on gt2 prices and the fact its RHD

Pity I dont have a spare £175k!! [&o]

Stop the flippin' World, I want to get off. Are 993 GT2's at those figures already ?
