There is a 928 for sale with the option code XC1 the owner says only 10 cars were built with this option

I get the distinct wiff of something

As the car is in a pretty shabby state and he wants 27K for it

Says it a special tuned car with 450HP it appears to be a GT manual with some GTS bits

I did a quick check and found this. It seems xc1 is a wide body option and quite rare. More info can be found here. http://rennlist.com/forums/928-forum/559499-limited-edition-928-a-4.html

Could be an SE or CS with slightly wider arches. I have number 18/42. 27k is interestingly very strong money. 450bhp is way over 100bhp more than they left the factory with. A 'sport' sticker is a good giveaway underneath the 928 S4 stickers, twin tailpipe and year determine something special.

The car is quite a long way from me it's gold and quite shabby, seems to have extended leather trim. At a rough guess it would need another 7-10K spent on it to get it nice so way out of my price range Did not notice a sport sticker but did notice the rear arches are round rather than squared off. If I was in the market I think 15-18K would be my best offer
