ORIGINAL: I'm not a fan of low mileage cars as problems due to lack of use can be costly to fix and tend to be overlooked by previous owners as they drive them so seldom.
Things such as aircon/clutches/brakes etc - not always easy to diagnose until you own it !!

.... there are a few of us who just do whatever needs doing as an expected part of ownership and we don't overlook anything []

I suppose it's all down to whether you want to enjoy driving the car properly[], rather then just look at it as an investment all the time - if you've got money to throw away you could put in a glass case or museum[], but what a shame.
most weekends through the summer
What about the winter?
This lead to me buying a 993 with 67k on the clock as an every day car. I love it so much, I haven't even touched the 996 for 3 months and am now considering selling it.

Always better to go for a mid-mileage car (say between 60k to 100k miles), save a few £k and not feel guilty about driving it as often as you can

Good to know ALL low mileage owners fall into the same category Spy - we are all so wrong, worried if not petrified about residual values and closet happy nutters who dare not drive the car.. []
I think not []
