How to download pictures

Hi John,

Host them somewhere like photobucket. Each picture will then have a direct link to copy and paste here.

Click the little icon on the far right of the toolbar that looks like a yellow postcard, copy the link there and it should post the picture.

on a related issue been meaning to ask - why don't I have a postcard icon any more? my 'icons' are all worded buttons and have been for some time - what did I do?

Different browsers do change the forum icons.

Bear in mind that after I push the "on" button I've no idea how a computer works, but I understand that the fairly old forum platform doesn't perform the same on the different modern browsers. I use firefox and it's not changed at all.

As Paul says get a Photobucket account upload your pictures there, then hover the cursor over the picture there and copy the bottom link (IMG code), then in the message window click on the "image" button above which puts up "
" then paste the copied IMG code directly after.

Ive left the G out of the IMG above so it doesnt show the pic for this purpose.
