How to replace a blown 951 head gasket

A friend of ours, Heikki, bolwned his race cars head gasket. At first the plan was just tyo replace the gasket, but then we replaced also some other minor parts which were hanging around.

I was only couple of hours away and guys were torned down also our friend Heikki's car

After that it was time to end Satturday night fever

On sunday morning Pete was an early bird, i went to garage in the afternoon. here's the result of few hours session.

We packed few things to Pete's trailer to be taken for home garage

Pete uninstalled the donor car during next week almost completely. We went with my youngest son Peter next week end to help a little bit.

I was going to say the exact same thing until I saw the damaged car at the bottom [:(]

Make sure that young foreman keeps a close eye on the workers [:D]

I also like the way that Pete works on the car in a white collared shirt! [:D] That's the way it should be done... [:-]
 
Pete is a little bit "green", he like to recycle. It's his old pilot uniforms (he flys MD11 planes) shirt, trousers as well belong to the same outfit. [:D]
