How to turn off auto door locking

You can choose from 4 settings:
Type 1
Doors lock automatically when the ignition is switched on.
Type 2
Doors lock automatically when a speed of 3-6mph is exceeded.
Type 3
Doors lock automatically when the ignition is switched on. If doors are opened with the engine running, they lock again when a speed of 3-6mph is exceeded.
Type 4
The doors do not lock automatically.
You want setting type 4; if you bought it as a UK spec then the default setting should have been Type 2.
Your OPC will be able to do it.
Or, if you have the Sport Chrono package - this can be used to do it yourself:
From the handbook:
Automatic door locking
Your authorized Porsche dealer can program diverse
types of automatic door locking in the control
unit of the central locking system:
Type 1
Doors lock automatically when the ignition is
switched on.
Type 2
Doors lock automatically when a speed of
3 - 6 mph (5 - 10 km/h) is exceeded.
Type 3
Doors lock automatically when the ignition is
switched on. If doors are opened with the engine
running, they lock again automatically when a
speed of 3 - 6 mph (5 - 10 km/h) is exceeded.
Type 4
The doors do not lock automatically.
Note
Automatically locked doors can be unlocked with
the central locking button or opened by pulling on
the inside door handle twice.
On vehicles with the Sport Chrono package, the
PCM can be used to activate automatic door locking.
Please observe the chapter "Individual Memory" in
the separate PCM operating instructions.

LOL,
Kish got there whilst I was looking it up! [8D]
...but I didn't know about the Sports Chrono package, good one!

Same electronics.
The PCM needs to be in 'Main' mode, so press the relevant button along the bottom edge of the screen to select 'Main'.
Next, along the right hand edge of the PCM screen there are a number of buttons (such as 'map', etc.). Select the button that says 'Set'.
Then use the right radio button to scroll down to 'Individ. Memory'.
Then select 'Lock', then select 'Auto Lock', then select 'off'.
The entire process takes about 5 seconds. I believe this setting might be key specific, so if you use your keys interchangeably, you may have to go through this process for each key.
I vaguely remember something about, if your car does not have the on-board computer, you may not be able to configure the settings yourself, but I don't remember for sure. If that is the case, sorry to waste your time with all of the above, but you'll know soon enough whether you can do it or not.
