Hi All, this is my first post here. Im going to view my first porsche tomorrow morning and I just wanted to confirm how do identify if the car has certain options and if the option codes are clearly stated in the original service book or where? I have printed off the options code list ready to take with me.

cheers

And that it actually does have a sticker with the codes under the bonnet. If it doesn't it may mean it's had a replacement bonnet or worse still front end !

thats great advice thanks guys. wen tto see a cobalt blue this morning with parking sensors extended leather switchable exhaust and bose but I think me and the wife are set on black which will be confirmed after we go see one tomorrow morning.

also what are the main issues with the car being an import?

Essentially imports are worth less money, are harder to sell, are harder to insure, and don't have the same basic spec.

It may not have the Thatcham Approved alarm system, which was only fitted to UK (and Belgian) cars as standard. You will have to declare that it is an import to your insurance company, and they may load you accordingly. It will have a lower resale value. etc, etc, etc.

If it is cheap, then it's up to you, but if it isn't then keep looking, as there are plenty around. Hold out for the colour and spec you want, or you will always wish for it.
