How was your weekend?

Couldn't help but notice the lack of Forum activity on Sunday. Where were you all?

I have no doubt that a good many of you were enjoying a top down treat in the "˜summer' weather [8D]. So, where did you go to enjoy it?

Took my S for a run out towards Canterbury from Ramsgate. A steady start before hitting a 2 mile stretch of dual carriageway interrupted only by a couple of roundabouts. Its amazing how quickly this bit came and went! Then, a vigorous thrash around the country lanes for a pub lunch at the Red Lion in Stodmarsh (if your ever out this way, give it a go "" superb). Return trip via Broadstairs for a drive/stroll along the sea front then a glass of wine with friends before heading home.

Probably one of my best weekends this year "" including, I have to say the one I spent in Prague three weeks ago! How sad is that?

I took the Box up to Club Office in Moreton. I have to be honest, first got into the GT3, but so long since I drove it, wouldnt turn over, so had to bail into the Box.

had a lovely drive back Sat afternoon, top down the whole way, heated seats and heater on, thats the way life should be.

Would you have got any more fun and pleasure from this run had it been in your first choice car? [8D][8D][8D]

Me thinks the answer is in the Box :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

WOW! Now, that's what I call a PROJECT! Remember and let us see it when its finished John.[8|]

I had other things to do so had to leave the wee beastie wrapped up in the garage over the nice weekend.

James, Nic,
Glad to see that some boxsterites were out enjoying roof down motoring as it should be.[:D]

Fantastic work John "" I'm envious. I had several Series 3's. The last one being an SX200 "" bored out to 225 (at the time, I also had spots and hair as I recall [:-]).

I believe I paid around £150 for the SX in the early 70's. I'd be ready to stump up best part of 300 quid for one of your machines! Just let me know if that sounds at all attractive! [;)]
