Husborne Crawley - Porsche Autojumble.

I picked this up from another forum so just for info ..............

"I live locally to the much loved Autojumble site in Husborne Crawley and in addition to the new road layout in the area, new speed limits have been introduced of 20mph and 30mph on two of the main approach roads to the site which are being watched closely by Police and locals. Almost got caught out myself before I became aware of them so at least you have some notice."

We've been warned!!

This is becoming a 'must' attend for me each year - probably more of interest to those with older motors. IIRC it was at this do last year we saw that fantastic Speedster and, we mustn't forget, Craig first fell in love with his 911 Targa here.[:)]

This year it's being held on Saturday 14th May 2011. Venue as always "The White Horse" Husborne Crawley Beds, MK43 0XE.

Anyone else going?

I'd like to go but I'm not sure if I can swing it (Prescott is the following day), or indeed if I dare risk it as it got me in so much trouble last year...!

Perhaps confirm nearer the time?

Same deal for me with it being before Prescott. Shame because I seem to remember the pub being good.

I used to attend regularly but haven't been for several years. It was as good for a social gathering as for buying bits.

Has the car park entrance been improved? It was not very good when I used to go as it was into the corner of a field and a short drop to the field after that ok but the exit was tricky as there were tree roots in the gateway. Quite few parked on the verges around but the plods are probably objecting to that too.
