Hydraulic/Squealing noise from rear

I hear a hydraulic/squealing noise from the back of my 993 sometimes when I am sat in traffic. It doesn't sound serious to me but I lent my car to my wife the other day and she was most concerned about it! Does anybody else hear this and if so do you know what it is?

Thanks Wayne. I am pretty sure it is not the spoiler as I generally hear it once I have stopped. I can usually hear my spoiler retracting just before I come to a halt and it makes a rumbling sound. The noise I am referring to sounds like pressure being released from a pipe - may be something to do with the oil I suppose.

It is conceivable that it could be a belt. The car has just had a service and I thought that sort of thing would have been picked up. It did occur prior to service so I should have asked the garage to look at it. I must admit I had expected you to say ... oh yes nothing to worry about, that is just one of those noises you get from a 993. I don't think aircon is involved as I rarely use it but as this noise may not be as straight forward as I thought I had better investigate further. Thanks Maurice.
