Googling Cayman and Monza returned this video. I am looking at a European track tour next year but am not so sure having seen this.

Presumably the Italian track day briefing goes something like "Ok chaps, just go out there and drive like you do on the road" I'm trying to picture that going on at Castle Combe or Goodwood.........[:D] Why do people feel the need to take Fiat Pandas around Monza, anyway?[&:]

Quite cap'n. Mind you, I was over at Silverstone a few week ago for a Club meeting. There was an interesting 6-hour endurance race taking place on the GP circuit organized by the 750 Motor Club. Apparently there were 4 to 6 cars per team and the race was run on a handicap basis. Just as well as there were all sorts of cars taking part: lots of Caterhams, some Porsches, an old Ford Mustang, BMWs, Radicals, Honda Civics, Vauxall Novas, Toyota MR2s, a Mk2 Golf GTi, to name but a few, and there were even Smart cars [taking Stowe very gingerly]. Weird, and quite dangerous really because of the speed differentials. Jeff

Doesn't look so bad apart from all of those hatchbacks and such clogging the track, Italian road driving is far more hazardous!

GT3RS at Monza, who said PDK was boring..
