Always the way....there is a wonderfull 944 convertable on ebay ending soon that is under 5k,I sooooooo wish I had the money[&o] (although I do love my Lux)
I suppose I will get over it.

Personally I genuinely do not like the cabs in either the 944 or the 968, I just think the shape and lines of the cars are spoiled by the contrasting roof.

Lucky me I suppose [8D]

I think the cab is the best looking in it's class, the slightly "speedster" look of the low roof looks perfect up, where most cabs can look top-heavy. I think you should buy it! [;)]

I think the cabs look great with the roof up[8D]
I did mention the car to my mrs and she said I already have a nice 944 and dont need another one...they just dont understand do they[&o]

How do you think I feel, it's only 15 mins from me! I feel better for telling myself that the belts would need doing and there's no mention of the cam chain being done. But on the other hand I've seen it around and about and it looks NICE!

I think the 944 cab is Uber Cool especially with the roof up [:)]

Always look at a cab with the roof up. Some can look really cool, good rooflines and some look truly dreadful - Morgan anyone?

I think it does look better with the roof up shape wise.[8D]Its a pity they dont do a hard top panel aswell.

ha! Im a lucky bu88er who's got one! it doesnt need a hard roof panel, the hood is superb quality and quiet - I "upgraded" to this from TVR 400SE with hard panel, which fills the boot up.
although driving home tonight in this rain, i did discover a slight leak!! mind you, it used to pi$$ into the TVR!

Agree with what has been said, a mate had a blue cab which looked lovely with the hood up.

My cab looked brill..with the roof down all day yesterday, what a difference it makes to a boring journey [:)]

no chance today though [>:]

Absolutely agree - its a great car roof up, but when you can drop it at the flick of a switch and enjoy wind in the hair (draft across the skull in my case) motoring, its a different experience altogther....

Personally i'd take a tin top everytime.

But unlike most Cabbie's go, the 944 shape really works as a soft top, is very easy on the eye, and dosn't look awkward as some coupes do when the roof is removed.

well you would say that, wouldnt you, having just "invested"! (just saw your other post!)

I'm still pretty protective of mine, having had it only 2 and a half months...
Despite a load of winging from the family, who I insisted travelled to the NEC in the porsche today, hood down on the way back!

Tin top for me everytime.

Unless it's a ground up design, I just can't can't get excited by a Cab. That said, I do think the 944 is one of the better one's to look at...

Cab , soft top..every time for me, wether 300sl, porsche or whatever car .they are such wondeful drives in summer, & stunning lookers..dunno why , they seem better finished too [;)] so worth every extra £££ [:D]
