I can't quite believe this one....

they are a dealer not far from me in Wakefield, specialising in Porsche. They have been around quite a while and sell only highly priced dross.

Eek, that number plate is extremely close to mine (less than 10 digits) so glad my 2.7 didn't end up a bastardised mess like this one!

I'm just going to go and bang my head with a brick, because I must be asleep ! , this cant be reality , can it ?

Hold still. It's clearly overpriced, but aside from the bonnet scoop, it's not that bad. Yes, the paintwork is a matter of taste, but they may just be vinyl which would peel off. The rear lights are not standard, but look like they could be removed fairly easily and the originals put back on. It has the Cup1 alloys and the hoop spoiler ... both of which I like.

I'm not too sure about the "lightweight" tag, and I'l like to know more about things like the state of the cills and whatnot, but I wouldn't write this one off. And if you wanted a track toy (and it was a few thousand cheaper), it could be quite a good buy.

Oli.

Agreed at about half the price (ok maybe a little more than that) and sans the worst of the offending add on tat it would make good sense for a track car.

oh and I actually quite liked that Martini car from a while back though I will deny it if anyone asks me

I can't see where 'lightweight' comes into it [&:]

It looks to me like a pretend trackcar with led bits, extra stickers and silly gizmos like cameras that serve no real purpose for a 'lightweight'

If it had bucket seats, less carpeting and fibreglass panels then it would make more sense

"A few thousand cheaper" Do you mean 4? It's not even the correct shade of "red". Surely, it will be slower than a "Guards Red S2", even after all those mods?:ROFLMAO:

Truely hideous rear lights, and are those a row of LED's mounted in the bumper as some kind of 3rd brake light or parking sensors?

At last I've seen a car that suits these I made for a bit of fun - essential fitment to complete the lightweight illusion :ROFLMAO:

Possibly the only 944 I've seen with clear front lenses that do nothing for the look(and I didn't supply them to them BTW)

The lights appear to be a copy of Strosek items. They, in turn, copied 1960s 911RS rear lamps, although I doubt that they save weight here.
