I DID IT!!!!!!

Hi Guys and Girls

I finally did it. I bought my first 911 3.2 Carrera, (yes Graham, the one in Wilmslow).

After much tooing and froing (if that's how you spell it!?!), I managed to get an inspection, which in the end, I got the AA to do and it came up with a few little points, but nothing major.

Drove from Wilmslow to Nottingham on Saturday and relied on my satnav (an aftermarket PDA one which normally is great), but it took me across to Chesterfield and if any of you know that road, it is a pig, cos I got stuck behind a lorry at 35 mph with every normal overtaking oportunity blocked by oncoming traffic, quite frustrating I can tell you.

I am really pleased though and I was pleasantly surprised, even in the wet, how well they handle.

You will find me to be a regular poster on here and I still have a very soft spot for 944's. If you are in the East Midlands Region, don't forget that there is a meeting tonight.

Regards

Phil

Well done Phil, enjoy it. Have you managed to wipe the smile off your face yet ? It took me a few weeks, I had to creep out to the garage in the evenings just to take a peekat the beastie!! May be I'm just a little bit sad......
I hope we'll meet at some stage, I'm trying to collaborate with Helen on some events for the coming year between E.Mids and Lincs / Humbs regions.

Regards,

You sure will Helen!!!

No pics yet cos I was too busy driving it yesterday and it is raining now!!

See you later.
